Our Wines Montesquieu - The spirit of wine.
Fine wine isn't the only thing that pours forth from each bottle.

Below is a listing of the wines we are presently offering. If you would like tasting notes on previous releases, please visit our Archive section.

2005 I Campanili Toscana Rosso

Few wines can capture the pioneering spirit of Italian wine better than a great Super Tuscan. Over the past few years, it's been a pleasure working with Anna Maria Caselli and her vineyards, in particular with her rare 'I Campanili' Toscana Rosso. A compelling blend of 70% Sangiovese Grosso, 20% Merlot, and 10% Syrah, the nose expresses dark spicy cherry, white pepper, and roasted espresso bean. Firm and chewy on the palate with flavors of blackcurrant, grilled herbs, and sweet spices, the finish is polished and refined with subtle nuances of leather, black olive, and cured tobacco. A lovely wine today but also certain to evolve nicely in the cellar.

2005 Sorada Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (in Magnum)

A stunning expression of Napa’s favorite grape bottled in magnum to ensure a long and graceful evolution. A full-bodied Cabernet carefully rounded out with just the right amount of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, the Sorada achieves an ideal combination of power and refinement. Intense aromas of flowers, green olives and blackberries lead to a sultry palate full of dried cranberries, green peppercorns, and fresh earth. The wine’s generous flavors resonate through the finish that offers nuances of espresso, spice, and tobacco.

2007 Jean Gagnerot Bourgogne Blanc

A racy, refreshing example of Chardonnay from a classic vintage for White Burgundy. The ample nose of apple butter and soft citrus is accented with a subtle touch of oak, leading to an elegant palate driven by flavors of pear skins and honeyed ginger. A perky touch of acidity frames the finish and makes this an ideal pairing with any shellfish dish.

2007 Philippe Auchere 'Cuvee les Deserts' Sancerre

Philippe Auchere has become our favorite source for vibrant, crisp Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire Valley. This lively citrus-driven nose is full of mineral and herbal complexities, leading you to a bright, refreshing palate with flavors of white peach and pear skin. Touches of slate and citrus zest reappear in the finish to complete this classic Sancerre experience.

2008 Castello di Roncade Chardonnay

Every year, Roncade delivers an elegant, refreshing style of everyone's favorite white grape. Grown in the cool climate of Veneto, this straw gold colored wine has a piercing nose of cut hay, minerals, and citrus zest. Green apple and pear flavors glide across your palate, leading to a crisp vibrant finish that makes this wine ideal for pairing with all kinds of shellfish dishes.

2008 Castello di Roncade Prosecco

Our favorite Italian bubbles and a great release for the holiday season. This sparkling has a shimmering white gold color to go with its infinite flutter of pinhead-sized bubbles. The bouquet releases aromas of freshly chopped green apple and peach puree. With every sip layers of melon and pear mingle with a subtle touch of orange rind and honeysuckle. The tingly nuances on the palate lead to a refreshing finish full of creamy citrus that glides effortlessly with the help of the wine's lovely pinch of acidity. The ideal apertif sparkling with limitless food pairing options.

2008 DeBont Dry Creek Cabernet Sauvignon

Every vintage, Dry Creek delivers Sonoma's finest example of Cabernet Sauvignon and this wine offers a great example of it. Our 2008 DeBont exhibits a deep crimson color and beautiful nose of sweet currant bud, raspberry, and herbs. Full and fleshy on the palate, the flavors of black cherry and cassis are followed by hints of chocolate and spice in the lush, velvety finish. A great example of what we have to look forward to with the 2008 vintage.

2008 Rio Mendoza Merlot Reserve

Our friends at Rio Mendoza have done it again! Sourced from one of the oldest vineyards in Argentina, this 2008 Merlot Reserve is a lovely wine. The nose is loaded with roasted blackberries and rose petals that bring you to a dense, juicy palate of black cherry, chocolate, and spice. This Merlot is dark and mysterious yet still refined and elegant, making for the complete wine drinking experience. An excellent wine to pair with several styles of food, but particularly grilled red meats.

2009 Jakob Gerhardt Niersteiner Bildstock Rivaner Kabinett

Our first 2009 vintage release from Germany shows we have much to look forward to from this excellent year. White gold in color with a subtle greenish fleck, the nose is a lovely bouquet of peaches, pears, and subtle canteloupe nuance. Juicy flavors of green apple and pear skins race across the palate, leading to a refined finish with bright acidity and a trace of minerals. Ideal for carefree summer drinking.
