This Petite Sirah is the darkest boysenberry, very inky and extracted. This is truly a monster wine, but is totally loveable and approachable with round jammy fruit. The nose is very perfumed and aromatic with boysenberry and soft smoky spice, woven together with a touch of maple syrup. The body explodes with fruit: warm, juicy boysenberry, cherry and sasparilla. The finish is so full and has such flair with the extracted fruit-dried bing cherry and blackberry, with a hint of coffee and sweet roll.
