MERLOT (California, 2009)
This Merlot is a deep magenta with wonderful aromas of sweet cherry and plum. The silky body is filled with flavors of fresh cherries and finishes with vanilla and a subtle hint of chocolate. An elegant expression of Merlot that shows beautifully at the dinner table, especially with grilled meats.
CABERNET SAUVIGNON (California, 2009)
This 100% Cabernet comes from old vineyards in Lodi. The wine's deep garnet color draws you in as the aromas of sweet cherry and subtle hints of pepper waft from the glass. The peppery nuances are sustained on the palate to compliment the dark currant core of fruit. Finishing with a lingering suggestion of spring herbs, this Cab is a great pairing with roast lamb or your favorite cut of steak.
KABINETT (BLUE BOTTLE) (Germany, 2009)
A beautiful Kreuznacher Kauzenberg Riesling from the Nahe region. This wine has lovely aromas of pears, nuts and baked apples. It's a touch tart with a hint of mouth-pleasing sweetness, think sweet green apple and ruby red grapefruit, followed by a long intense finish full of soft citrus and minerals.
CHARDONNAY (California, 2009)
A very well-rounded Chardonnay exhibiting tropical flair. Glowing gold color and excellent clarity, with ripe honeydew melon and tangerine on the nose. The body is round with ripe pineapple and a hint of starfruit layered with subtle hints of butter and vanilla, leading to a balanced, smooth and refreshing finish. An excellent sipping wine or pairing with many lighter dishes, including seafood and chicken.
SPARKLING WINE (Burgundy, France, )
There's no better gift than a beautiful sparkling wine, and this Cremant de Bourgogne has it all. Made in the Traditional Method of Champagne, this sparkler is toasty, crisp and perfect for any occasion. From the creamy citrus flavors to the broad brioche finish, this bubbly is at once elegant and complex. It's also available in a stunning 1.5L Magnum format, allowing you to add extra pizzazz to your gift.
