2009 Dienheimer Schloss Riesling Spatlese

From the charming village of Dienheim, just south of Oppenheim in the Rhienhessen. The nose is aromatic with perfumed lemongrass and pear, accented with dusty chalk and minerality. The lively palate of green apple and quince are lifted by bright acidity and a hint of pink grapefruit. The finish is nicely balanced by vibrant Pippin green apple and lemon zest. This is wonderful as an aperitif or with Asian dishes, fruit and cheese platters, chicken and fish dishes, and much more!
