2008 Baird Napa Valley Chardonnay

This classic expression of sun-soaked Chardonnay has been lovingly sourced from the cool vineyards of Carneros and steep, rocky terrain of Mount Veeder. Deep gold in color, the bouquet is alive with sliced green apples, cr'me fraiche and mandarin peels. Flavors of baked apple crisp, vanilla cream, and cinnamon are at the core of the wine's oily, full palate -- complete with a creamy mouthfeel that carries long into the finish with hints of oaken spice.
